BAF Contracting provides services to large subdivisions, and water, sewer and pump station projects. Most recently, BAF has completed clearing, grading, erosion control and seeding on projects for Strata Solar, one of America’s largest end-to-end utility-scale solar farm developers. BAF also serves many large corporations and municipalities including Community Properties, the City of Raleigh, and the Towns of Holly Springs, and Cary.

For over 50 years, BAF Contracting has proudly served North Carolina specializing in clearing, grading, erosion control, and public utility work. The Company was founded in the early 1960s by Charles R. Fish, a well-known heavy equipment construction contractor. After his retirement in 1992, the company has been operated by Charles’ nephew, Ben Fish. Ben holds a degree in civil engineering and he continues to operate the business from the building his Uncle built on Old Mechanical Court in Garner.
